Modernizing Infrastructure Projects to Stay Competitive

Located approximately 65 miles north of Los Angeles, the Los Padres National Forest and local farms account for half of the county’s 1.2 million acres where more than 900,000 residents call home. Ventura County infrastructure projects focus on efficiency and modernization to help airports and The Port of Hueneme stay competitive.

Innovative infrastructure projects help ensure a reliable water supply, even during a drought. Other vital construction projects on the 542 miles of roads and 158 bridges within the County have utilized monies from SB 1 to keep them in the best condition possible. Projects like the Rice Avenue Bridge, the site of deadly accidents, were never able to move forward without the crucial SB 1 funding.
