Jon Switalski serves as the Executive Director of the Rebuild SoCal Partnership (RSCP). Before joining RSCP in June 2021, Switalski was the head of Spring Street Consulting, a strategic public affairs and communications firm. From February 2019 and on, Jon held the title of Executive Director of Californians for Balanced Energy Solutions. His specialties include campaign tactics and communication, energy and environmental policy, open space revitalization, and equitable community engagement.
Previously, Jon also held the position of Director of External Affairs while working at River LA. Jon held this role for 2 years (November 2016 – January 2019). Before this, Jon held the position of Vice President Government Relations, Business Development, at Ebus Inc. from May 2015 to August 2016.
Jon was elected to the position of Michigan State Representative from January 2009 – December 2014. Prior to that, Jon was elected to the Macomb County Commission; Jon held this role for 4 years (January 2005 – December 2008).
Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State in Michigan. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, hiking, and of course, spending as much time at the beach as possible. Jon also is an avid traveler.
Marci Stanage serves as the Director of Water and Environmental Relations for the Rebuild SoCal Partnership (RSCP). Upon joining RSCP in August 2016, Marci has worked with elected officials in their District offices, advocating for the successful passage of Measure M (LA County), Measure W (LA County), and SB1, the statewide transportation initiative.
Marci has also taken an active role on the Southern California Water Coalition, CICWQ (Construction Industry Coalition on Water Quality), and the BizFed Water Committee. In December 2019, Stanage was nominated to serve as Co-Chair of the BizFed Water Committee for 2020. Most recently, she has been named treasurer for the Secure Water Alliance.
Originally from a small town in South Dakota, Marci and her husband currently reside in Corona, CA. In her spare time, Marci likes to cook, bike ride, and hang out with friends and family.
Amy Peake is the Director of Policy and Advocacy for the Rebuild SoCal Partnership. Amy joined the RSCP team in March 2023.
Earlier in her career, Peake spent nearly eight years as a congressional staff member in Washington, D.C., in legislative and communications positions. Her time on the hill included working as a Labor Policy Advisor for the U.S. House Committee on Education and Labor. She focused on healthcare policy and labor policy that impacted working families. She also worked as a Legislative Assistant & Press Secretary for a member of California’s congressional delegation.
Peake also spent several years on the government affairs team at the Urban Institute. Her efforts helped connect Urban’s experts – and their policy research and evidence-based insights – to policymakers at the local, state, and federal levels.
Peake started her career working in a city manager’s office in a Northern California city after she studied Communications and Political Science at the University of California, Davis. She was born and raised in Southern California and the Central Valley; today, she calls the Ventura Coast home.
Madison Rossetti serves as the Communications Coordinator for Rebuild SoCal Partnership (RSCP). Madison joined the RSCP team in September 2020 and helped The Partnership create The Rebuild SoCal Zone Podcast from the ground up.
Rossetti brings a background in social and digital media to the table. While attending university, she served as Online Media Director for the Sorority Kappa Alpha Theta for two years. She also served as a photographer for Allen Hall Media, an organization at her university, and is utilizing those skills at the Rebuild SoCal Partnership. Rossetti graduated in March 2020 from the University of Oregon, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising with a minor in Multimedia. She was born and raised in Southern California and currently resides in Costa Mesa, CA.
Roslynn Hernandez serves as the Operations Manager for the Rebuild SoCal Partnership. Hernandez joined the Partnership in January 2019 with the title of Administrative Assistant, was then promoted to Executive Assistant in December 2020, and was most recently promoted to her current title of Operations Manager in 2022.
In her capacity as Operations Manager, Hernandez is responsible for: the coordination of key meetings for the Partnership, with a primary focus on Legislative collaboration with elected officials. In addition to her responsibilities, Roslynn ensures the RSCP office runs at its highest potential by managing office functionality on a day-to-day basis, and working closely with business partners and consultants.
Prior to joining the Partnership, she held the position of Sales Executive Assistant for Calpipe Industries, LLC, with direct support to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for nearly 3 years. Hernandez also served as a Mortgage Servicing Specialist for the Bank of America Tax Disbursement Department, where she managed a portfolio pertaining to several thousand impound escrow accounts. Hernandez later received a promotion to Executive Administrative Assistant II, working directly for the Senior Vice President while providing administrative support to a department of over 100 bank employees.
Hernandez studied Psychology at Moorpark College. A proud native of Simi Valley, she currently resides in Rancho Cucamonga and enjoys salsa dancing and going to the beach with her family.
Benjamin Lopez currently serves as the Political Director for Rebuild SoCal Partnership, where he develops and executes strategic political plans to advance infrastructure policy initiatives, engage with key stakeholders, and lead advocacy efforts to influence state and local infrastructure projects. With over a decade of extensive experience in public policy, advocacy, and strategic communications, Ben also served as the Director of Public Policy and Advocacy at the Inland Empire Economic Partnership. In this capacity, Ben led comprehensive advocacy initiatives, engaging with policymakers, government officials, and stakeholders to influence policy decisions and drive strategic outcomes. Before this role, Ben served as a Consultant at Arellano Associates, where he successfully implemented public engagement plans for major transportation projects and fostered key relationships with government agencies and community organizations.
Ben’s career includes notable tenure as a Public Policy Advisor for the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors, where he conducted in-depth legislative research and analysis, cultivated stakeholder relationships, and managed a large constituency’s needs. Additionally, he has experience as an Independent Political Consultant, collaborating with candidates and campaign managers to develop effective campaign strategies and voter outreach plans. Ben’s strategic insights and hands-on approach have consistently contributed to the success of numerous political campaigns and policy initiatives.
With a background that includes serving as a linguist in the U.S. Coast Guard, Ben brings a unique blend of strategic communication skills and cultural sensitivity to all his professional endeavors. He is dedicated to driving positive policy outcomes and fostering collaborative relationships across various sectors to achieve organizational goals. Ben holds a Master in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a BA in Political Science from CalState Fullerton. He lives in the Inland Empire with his wife, Lisa, two sons, and his dog Buck.
