Los Angeles County Infrastructure Projects Reshape Region and Grow City

With a population of over 10 million, Los Angeles County is home to one of the busiest airports in the world as well as the busiest port in the Western Hemisphere. Los Angeles County infrastructure projects put the region in the midst of one of its greatest building booms, as tens of billions of dollars pour into construction for airports, ports, rail and subway lines, waterworks, and other projects.

As the city of Los Angeles prepares to host the 2028 Olympic Games and some of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, voter-approved state and local funding boosts Los Angeles County infrastructure projects. This expansion and renovation contributes to the city’s transformation and is crucial as the city continues to grow in record numbers.
