Dear State Legislators:
California’s infrastructure desperately needs your attention:
- Southern California roads rank among the nation’s most deteriorated and dangerous.
- More than 1,300 of California bridges are structurally deficient.
- Citizens pay an average $762 a year in car maintenance due to bad roads.
Legislators, please support “SB1” today. Your vote by April 6 will guarantee that today’s crumbling infrastructure will be repaired. The longer you delay, the more we all pay!
The Southern California Partnership for Jobs (SCPFJ) represents 2,750 construction firms who employ more than 90,000 union workers in Southern California. We ask that you support “SB1” now.
Californians, it’s time to take action!
